The Students of Our High School Took Part in the 3 Weeks’s Summer Camp in Oxford UK 16 students of our high school led by the dean of the international department Chen Hong, took part in the 3weeks’summer camp in the Aspect College Oxford UK. In addition to the English courses 20 hours per week, the students also visited several colleges in the Oxford University, Ashmolean Museum, Museum of Natural History, Oxford story, famous Cathedral in Oxford, one of the movie Harry Potter filmed bases, the Big Ben in London; during the second week, the students participated many activities, for example, indoor ice skating, playing football in the University Parks, going electronic-shooting in the Laster Quest, playing bowling, having a quiz, touring in the oldest and the most famous Warwick Castle in Warwick of UK, the birthplace of the outstanding drama writer William Shakespeare in Stratford Upon and the Oxford Ghost Tour, enjoying the traditional activity “Go punting” . After the 3 weeks’ study and touring, students generally found out the English culture, British history, education, family and the English eating habits. Their oral English was improved and the horizon was broadened!
