2008 Winter Camp in Cambridge Regional College of UK From 20th Jan. 2008 to 4th Feb.2008, Ms. Chen Hong, director of international department, Ms. Zhang Bei and Ms. Liu Aihong, 3 group leaders and students have participated to the 16-day winter study tour in Cambridge Regional College of UK. Weekly 15 hours English training, Staying in local host families, practice of oral English speaking and listening, students have been improving the ability English communication a lot. Students visited the famous university, Cambridge University that gestates 63 gainers of the Nobel prize. The mathematic bridge named Newton, St. Trinity College, King’s College and St. Mary Cathedral etc., students knew more about Cambridge by visiting. Also, teachers and students visited Oxford, Norwich, Ely and London, visited Oxford University, Christ Church College, the place that Harry Porter was filmed, Norwich Castle etc. In London, walked down Thames River, look around, the Big Ben, National Parliament, 10 of Downing Street, Buckingham Palace where the Royal families are staying, Trafalgar Square, the British Museum which students enjoyed much. Dr. Amina, the director of International Department of CRC, granted the English training certificates to students on the last day. On 2nd Feb 2008, CRC gave a lift to London Heathrow International Airport, Saying good-bye to UK, end of the significative winter camp.
