2010 Winter Camp in UK Under the leadership of Chen Hong (Director of the International Department) and Wang Rui (Assistant) from Yuhua Education Investment Co., Ltd, and two middle school teachers Zhang Yan and Cai Na, 71 students had their 15-day-winter camp in UK during 28 Jan 2010 and 11 Feb 2010. We separated into two groups at Heathrow airport: 3 teachers (Chen Hong, Zhang Yan, Wang Rui) led 51 students to Cambridge, while Cai Na led 20 senior high school students to Oxford. The Cambridge group had one week of English classes in Cambridge Regional College (CRC), and visited St. Johns College, Trinity College, and King’s College of Cambridge University. They also visited the oldest British museum----the Fitzwilliam Museum, and the famous Cambridge blocks; There was also a one-day tour to the capital city London where they visited the famous London Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace Big Ben. Another day they toured the old city Ely and its famous cathedral. The Oxford group also had the one-week English classes and the day trip to London. Additionally they went to the church at St Aldates; visited Christ Church college, the most famous college of Oxford University; the Pitt Rivers Museum and the Ashmolean Museum. Other places of interest included a visit to Shakespeare’s former home; Blenheim Palace and Oxford prison. Finally we had to say farewell to our host families and we all met up together again at Heathrow Airport on 9 Feb 2010, the end to this unforgettable trip.
