The Affiliated High School of
Beijing University, He’nan Branch (short for PUSHB) is the outcome of
Beijing University cooperating with the He’nan provincial government. It
is also the exemplary high school in He’nan province, which includes the
bilingual kindergarten and primary school, the middle school and high
school, with two campuses, one is in Zhengzhou City; the other is in
suburb Baqian Development District, Xinzheng City. Our school has a
total investment of 300 million, which is a modern and comprehensive
school with high standards. It covers an area of 360 mus, with a floor
space of 180,000 square meters. At present, there are more than 5,000
students in our school and over 500 excellent teachers from all over the
country. Since the foundation of our school, we have cultivated 3 year’s
graduates during the 6 years; 21 graduates were admitted to Beijing
University, 4 graduates were allowed to enter Tsinghua University.
Honorably speaking, the graduates of PUSHB nearly registered for the
“211 project” key universities all over the country. In 2004 and 2005
nationwide science contests, 21 talents of our school won the first
prize, topping other schools in Zhengzhou on average. In 2004, our
students won the 7th, 9th and 13th places in Beijing International
Marathon Race. In a word, the outstanding students of PUSHB chalked up
remarkable result in the nationwide, provincial and municipal contests;
and made a difference in the high school entrance examinations.
